About Los Tucanes De Tijuana

Los Tucanes De Tijuana were formed by Vocalist/ Guitarist/Composer and Producer Mario Quintero Lara. The band began recording with Cadena Musical and Mexico/Unisono Records in USA. In 1994 the band signed with Alacran Records which released two albums “Clave Nueva” and “Me Robaste El Corazón”. In 1995 Alacran Records licensed two more albums “14 Tucanazos Bien Pesados” and “Mundo De Amor” with EMI Latin a division of EMI Capitol Records, then continued to release four more Albums “Tucanes De Oro”, “Tucanes De Plata” “Amor Platónico” and “Los Más Buscados” In 2000 the band joins Universal Music Group which they then released “Me Gusta Vivir De Noche” and “Corridos De Primera Plana”. The band released some 50 albums and compilations in the next dozen years, including four, Romance Norteño, Para Tucancillos y Tucancillas, Me Gusta La Banda, and Corridos A Quema Ropa, early in 2013. The following year, the group issued Corridos Time/Season One: Soy a Parrandero, that included various corridos including "Julián Pérez" recounting the story from the 2011 film “Salvando Al Soldado Perez” and "El Shaka" the theme from the popular Mexican television series of the same name. They group also released a compilation of love songs in 2014 entitled “Perdóname Mi Amor”. The subsequent album, Corridos Time/Season Two: Los Implacables, was released in 2016.
 The band has signed with Master Q Music, and releases Álbum “Puebla Superada” and Nov 2020 releases Álbum "Corridos Time 3"
