About Los Tigrillos

Mexican Los Tigrillos were formed in the early '80s, making their debut with the release of a self-titled album in 1985, followed by 1987's Mire Amigo and 1988's Tremenda Punalada. Playing a mixture of Cumbia and norteño styles, the band's breakthrough came after signing with MCM in 1995. A year later, they released a successful record called Cumbias Con Garra. They soon became a gold-status band, repeating that achievement after issuing Dejando Huella in 1998. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
