The French rapper Le Rat Luciano was born Carmona Christophe in Marseille on 21/04/1976. In 1994, he joined forces with Rappeurs, Dj and Composer Don Choa, Menzo, Fel, Sat, Djel and Pone to co-found the group Fonky Family. "Si Dieu veut", their first album will be released in 1997 and certified. In 2000, Le rat Luciano released his first solo album " Mode de vie béton Style". Real passionate, the Rat Luciano is also appreciated and recognized as a humanist and man of heart, who has always distanced himself from the media and popularity. « Art de Rue » is the 2nd album of the Fonky Family which will be released in March 2001 and will be the biggest commercial success of the band. 2006, The Rat Luciano composed 7 productions for the 3rd and last opus of the Fonky Family "Marginal musique". The band did not succeed in reproducing the expected success, this album will be marked by the announcement of the band’s dissolution in 2007. The Rat Luciano, the precursor of a raw and scratched-out art design as the only instinctive and scratched-out production, arouses and influences in spite of himself. He will always give his participation on projects for more than 20 years to young artists little known, while trying to contribute to the realization of the «project of his life»: his 2nd solo album.
