Landrick is an Angolan super star singer and songwriter known for his sensual, romantic R&B style that includes Afro-pop undertones. He first rose to popularity with the 2015 hit single "Me Agarra Só Uhm," and continued to build on his success over the coming years through subsequent singles and prominent albums like 2018's Zolana. Born Landu Ndombele in the Angolan capital of Luanda, Landrick nurtured his budding talent as a teenager singing in local Seventh Day Adventist church, where he also began to receive formal training. Over time, he developed his own smooth vocal style. In 2010 Landrick traveled to Namibia, to attend the University and there the passion for music spoke louder and louder, with the help of his friends he recorded the mega hit “Me agarra só no hum” which quickly became a fever. 2014 while living in Portugal, he signed with the Bom Som production company, which issued his debut single, "Me Agarra Só Uhm." A major hit in Angola, it was included on Landrick's 2015 EP Mr. Confuso, which also yielded other hits like "Fila da Goda" and "Há Mulheres e Mulheres." increased visibility Landrick snatched Angola's Breakthrough Artist Award, Male Breakthrough Voice of the Year. Returning in 2018, Landrick offered his sophomore album, Zolana, in honor of his late mother.
