Jan Theo Berendsen aka Jengi has been steadily making a name for himself across raw and cultural club music, following a string of releases including his debut single Bruh and EP Colors in 2017, along with collaborating with FS Green and LEYO for the House of Pablo Pack re-work EP. Now touring the EU following on from performance at ADE in October, the next year promises to be the biggest yet for this young talent. Dutch producer Jengi takes over the spotlight heading into 2023 with the catchy club banger and viral phenomenon Bel Mercy. This highly anticipated track has already gained regular playtime from industry titans Diplo and Sam Divine, in addition to radio support from Arielle Free & Danny Howard. After Bel Mercy featured on a Beatport Tik Tok, the track was ripped and shared everywhere, and catapulted to online stardom with 65 million views, 6 million likes and 5000 creations on TikTok, in addition to over 7 million Instagram reel views. Bel Mercy has also sparked a viral dance routine trend featuring a child on the ski slopes dancing to the song which is dominating social media platforms worldwide.
