Upon the release of her first solo EP, Iyla is “soulful, sweet and a little street” - emulating new pop soul with clear R&B and Jazz influence. While her melodies are fun and fresh, Iyla’s lyrics tell the deeper story of a woman who is strong, empowered yet still embracing her imperfections. A native Angeleno, she has partnered with Grammy-nominated producer, Kadis “Maui Black” Spriggs, a new management team, and her independent label 3T Entertainment, to deliver her EP, WAR + RAINDROPS - a 5 track project showcasing the various shades of herself.
