Upcoming Ilan Eshkeri Tour
Ilan Eshkeri is an award-winning composer whose eclectic body of work is linked by his love of emotional narratives. Known for cult films such as Layer Cake, Stardust, The Young Victoria and Still Alice, Eshkeri is also recognised for his innovative work with Ralph Fiennes and television scores with David Attenborough. Always looking to push boundaries, Eshkeri’s work also spans music for video games, such as the global phenomenon ‘The Sims’ and the BAFTA & Ivor Novello nominated ‘Ghost of Tsushima’. More recently he collaborated with rock legend Matt Bellamy of Muse creating music for an audio booked adaptation of Orwell’s 1984. On stage Eshkeri has created ballets, fashion shows and concerts, his most recent show in association with NASA and ESA is called ‘Space Station Earth’, a huge synth-pop, orchestral and visual experience which takes the audience on the extraordinary emotional journey of an astronaut. He has also collaborated with many artists on songs and scores, such as Coldplay, KT Tunstall, Sinead O’Connor, Annie Lennox, David Gilmour and Ash. Eshkeri studied Music and English Literature at university, he is synaesthetic and dyslexic, colours, music and patterns merge in his mind allowing him to create with unconventional methods. This blended with a profound empathy for human stories, inspires unique work that has left an indelible and inspiring mark on the world of music.
