O nome Heavy Baile surge no Rio de Janeiro em 2010, nos remixes e depois faixas autorais de Leo Justi, e a partir de 2013 em parceria com o MC Tchelinho, da favela da Cruzada, e se manifesta como festa, show itinerante, lançando um álbum e singles com funkeiras consagradas e apresentou ao mundo uma abordagem estética no funk inédita e única. A colaboração com diretores de grife e artistas periféricos gerou vídeos compartilhados entusiasticamente por personalidades como Thais Araujo, Cat Power e Rosario Dawson, e os singles de sucesso incluem tanto parcerias com artistas "relíquia" do funk como Tati Quebra-Barraco e Valesca Popozuda, quanto as ascendentes Larinhx e Slipmami. Os esforços pela cultura periférica carioca abarcam hoje mais artistas dentro do selo/escritório, como Ebony e HG Real Trem, além do icônico MC Tchelinho com seu show solo. ======= Heavy Baile is a brazilian multimedia baile funk label which summons altogether music, dance and film production. Its DNA is constituted by a fusion of diversities: black and white, LGBTQi+ and straight, favela and the club. The group has collaborated across the globe with the likes of DeeWunn, Mr.Williamz; as well as with swedish pop singer Tove-Lo. In 2019, Heavy Baile headlined the Favela Stage @ Rock in Rio (Rio de Janeiro/Brazil).
