About Getter Jaani

Getter Jaani started her singing career relatively early but had her first and official televised performance for the public on a TV show “Eesti otsib superstaari” in 2009. Getter also started her collaboration with the music agency Moonwalk in 2009 and released her first EP “Parim Päev”, which directly earned great feedback from youngsters and teenagers across the country. 2011 was a monumental year for the young singer. On Eurovision, which was held in 2011 in Düssendorf, Germany- Getter represented Estonia with Sven Lõhmus’ song “Rockefeller Street”. Estonia landed in 24th place but the song caught on all over the world. Getter became the idol of the younger generation in Estonia. “Rockefeller Street” album was released soon after the Eurovision and included songs like “Valged ööd” featuring Koit Toome and “Me kõik jääme vanaks” featuring Mihkel Raud. Both songs are now called classical pop songs. The title song of the album is still a viral pop song across the globe. On different social media platforms, “Rockefeller Street” has gone through some transformation and that’s all thanks to music lovers and loyal fans. Nightcore did their own version of the song which has a 2x tempo and remix. The song has hundreds of millions of views and downloads on Youtube and TikTok. The song has also been heard on Jimmy Fallon's much-loved evening show on NBC, and many of the world's Category A stars have danced and performed the song.
