GANGGA (born March 27th, 1998) is the stage name of Gangga Kusuma, an Indonesian singer/songwriter based in Jakarta. He began his music career in 2019 by releasing his first single “Don’t” followed by his second single “Blue Jeans” in June 2020, which grew organically and became #1 Global Viral chart on Spotify, with the all-time streams reaching a total of 226,799,330 streams. The success of “Blue Jeans” allowed for his music career to take off and became the perfect introduction to what his music is all about; vulnerability and authenticity. In August 2021, he brought out his first debut album "It’s Never Easy" which encompassed the mellow, romantic, and sentimental side of his music that he wanted to convey to listeners. This first album quickly gained the attention of many and got nominated in AMI Awards 2021 (Best Urban Solo Artist) & AMI Awards 2022 (Best Alternative Solo Artist). After a string of original hits in the past few years, GANGGA is not holding back in 2023, releasing 2 new singles in the first half of the year. Starting with “Empty House'' which dropped on February 24th, 2023 and followed by his next single “Dreamin’ of You”, released on May 5th, 2023, which brings a new color and explores his musical creativity through a more up-beat tune. He also appearance by collaborating with artists such as HYBS, Rizky Febian, and Sezairi. GANGGA continues to make waves for his impassioned fanbase and the local music scene.
