Multi-platinum artist Frenna made his breakthrough as part of the rap group SFB in '14. Nowadays Frenna, a.k.a. Francis Junior Edusei, is making quite an impact as a solo artist with more than 2 million monthly Spotify listeners. Frenna has scored several #1 hits and has managed to achieve platinum statuses with his albums Francis and ’t album onderweg naar ‘Het Album’. In 2018 Frenna broke the Spotify record for most streams in 24hrs with Verleden Tijd. The song uninterruptedly ranked #1 in the Dutch charts for 6 weeks. At the end of '19 he set a new record: Frenna was the most streamed Dutch Spotify artist, leaving artists, such as Justin Bieber and The Weeknd behind him. Later in '20, Frenna received an award for reaching 1 billion streams across all streaming platforms. Early 2019 Frenna received an Edison Pop Award for his album Francis. He is also the man behind several successful events, among which is 7Fest. In the summer of '19 he organized the sold out 7Fest in Eindhoven. Frenna was also the first artist to sell out the AFAS Live during ADE ‘19 with his own urban concept ‘Meisjes Blijven Meisjes’. Following his success, Frenna is broadening his horizon and striving for an international career with his 5th solo album Highest. This album boasts his first entirely English solo track called Come Thru and also contains international features with none other than Nigerian superstar Yemi Alade, UK rapper Young Adz from the collective D-Block Europe and King Promise.
