About Frankie J

Frankie J, born Francisco Javier Bautista, was always surrounded by music. Frankie began his music career as a member of the Kumbia Kings, a music group formed by A.B. Quintanilla III, the brother of the late Selena. After a successful run of Spanish and English language albums, Frankie made the decision to become a solo artist. In 2003 he signed with Columbia Records and released his debut album What's A Man To Do. His Self-Titled first Spanish language album Frankie J was also released that year and he produced the hit lead single "Don't Wanna Try.” Frankie was also featured on the top ten hit with fellow latin musician Baby Bash with the song "Suga  Suga." Frankie J’s second album The One included his global hits “Obsession (No Es Amor)", "How to Deal" and "More than Words.” "Obsession” peaked at #3 on the Billboard charts and sold over a million copies worldwide. Frankie went on to release his third English-language album titled Priceless which featured smash singles  "That Girl" and "Daddy's little Girl.” Today, as an artist who has sold well over 5 million albums and singles worldwide, Frankie J demonstrates that he excels in whatever artistic endeavors he ventures. These characteristics, along with his talent and passion for performing, are what paint bright horizons for his artistic career.
