About Fools Garden

When Peter Freudenthaler and Volker Hinkel founded Fools Garden in 1991, they had no idea that their songs would be world famous just a few years later. Initiated in Pforzheim, Germany, the band got their first national attention with their song “Wild Days” which was used in ads of the clothes retailer C&A. But the real wild days began after "Lemon Tree" was released. Since 1996, this song mesmerized the whole world, was translated into over 40 languages and was sold more than 6 million times. It’s the tune that turned Fools Garden into one of the big players on the worldwide stage of music business. Fools Garden has played thousands of concerts around the world including countries in Europe, Asia, and South Africa. The band writes all their songs on their own and published several albums containing international radio hits. While songs like "Wild Days", "Suzy", "It Can Happen", "Probably" or "Why Did She Go?" conquered the German charts, tracks like "Closer", "Dreaming" and "Does Anybody Know?" became popular in Russia. In Spring 2018, the latest album “Rise and Fall” was released and entered the German album-charts. In conjunction with DJ “Alle Farben”, a modern version of Lemon Tree was created in 2020. The Single OUTTA LOVE serves as a pre-view to the new album which is to be released in November 2021. Keeping the excitement going, there will be more single releases coming in September, October, and November of 2021. So, sign up for the channel and stay tuned.
