Emerging as a new voice in the world of modern acoustic fingerstyle guitar, Donovan Raitt incorporates percussive techniques, strong melodic hooks, influences ranging from Jazz to Rock and Classical music, and innovative performance techniques to create a unique sound all his own. Based in Orange County, CA, Donovan has released two albums of original solo acoustic guitar music to critical acclaim, 2012’s Strategic Tension and 2014’s Pursuing the Horizon which was produced by Antoine Dufour. Donovan has also released two collections of Hymn arrangements for Solo guitsr, 2013’s Guitar Hymns, Vol. 1 and 2015’s Guitar Hymns, Vol. 2 as well as Christmas Hymns and Midwinter Hymns which feature arrangements of traditional Christmas music. Donovan has been touring extensively behind his music, performing across the US and Canada at several guitar festivals and events. His videos have been featured on Candyrat Records YouTube channel and received tens of thousands of views, and his music has caught the ear of some of the world's best guitarists.
