Dancing guru turned Recording Artiste Kemar Christopher Dwaine Ottey aka Ding Dong started from humble beginnings to now being one of the most sort after entertainers on the Dancehall scene. A lover of dance since birth, Ding was a part of the Flatbush Dance crew, and spent many days and nights performing for community members and onlookers alike. In the year 2002, Ding Dong decided to go full force with dancing and put his first love Football on the back burner and undeniably Ding became a popular household name in the world of Dancing and has since been the creator of numerous dances. In 2003, Ding formed what is today the most popular and loved Dance crew from Jamaica “Ravers Clavers”. The crew, all inhabitants of the Nannyville community are all talented in their own and have been instrumental in create popular dances known today, including ‘Fling’ and ‘Flairy’. Having dabbed in music as a recording artiste over the years, the reaction to him wanting to make the transition was not greeted with open arms but thet didn’t stop him and he went on to record a number of singles including Gas, Lowe Mi, Fling, Rock The Floor alongside labelmate and Dancehall Princess Shenseea, Flairy, Lebeh, Flair is in the Air, Braff with his other labelmate Teejay. He currently calls Romeich Entertainment home and says 2020 and beyond will be even more historic.
