2002年11月徳岡慶也と三浦拓也で結成された、2人組ギターインストゥルメンタルユニット。アコースティックギター2本で、さわやかなメロディーと柔らかな音色で心象風景や喜怒哀 楽といった感情、四季折々の情緒を表現する。 詩がないのに、唄っている様に聴こえるアコギの音色は耳なじみが良く、多種多様な所で楽曲が使用されている。ライブ・コンサートでは、 アコギ2本だけの演奏から、バンド編成までその場所に合わせて様々な感動を提供している。2005年アルバム「Let’s Go!!!」でメジャーデビュー。インストの音楽CDとしては異例の15万枚販売数を突破し、インストのアーティストのデビュー作品としては、日本音楽史上初のオリコン10位内7位にランクイン した。第20回日本ゴールドディスク大賞にて、”New Artist of the Year" と"Instrumental Album of the Year"の二冠に輝く。 海外でも人気が高く、2008 年からタイ、韓国、インドネシア、台湾、シンガポール 等でCDをリリースをすると共に、 アジア圏でライブを行い、タイでは単独で3000人動員、 2014年インドネシアのFESでは10,000人以上もの観客を動員。2015年は日本を含む、タイ、韓国、台湾、インドネシア、マレーシア、香港でリクエストベストアルバムを発売。 2020年にメジャーデビュー15周年を迎え「インストミュージックをポピュラーに!」を掲げ、さらに世代、国境も越えて勢力的に活動中!! A duo-guitar instrumental unit formed by Yoshinari Tokuoka and Takuya Miura in November 2002. The refreshing melody and the soft tone of the 2 acoustic guitars emotionally portray what lyrics do. The sound of the acoustic guitar singing soothes the ears, and the music seeps into everyday life. They debuted in 2005 with the album "Let's Go !!!". which sold over 150,000 copies, which was rare for an instrumental music CD and was the first ever instrumental debut album to score #7 in the weekly album charts in Japan. Their activities soared overseas, in 2008 they released and went on an Asian tour throughout Thailand, S. Korea, Singapore, Taiwan etc. In 2009 they first appeared in a music festival in Indonesia gathering 10,000 to their stage. 2020 marks their 15th year and on a mission to spread the beauty of instrumental music.
