Upcoming Dazey and the Scouts Tour
Dazey and the Scouts is a microtonal jazz quartet formed in 2016 in Boston. Young nubiles Lea Jaffe and Brennan Wedl called upon producer and bassist Otto Klammer (Dump Him, Prior Panic and more) to join. The original drummer was known fiend Austin Corona (Lilacs., Subpar, Jean Dawson). After Austin moved to California, the drum throne was taken over by big naturals haver Jack Whelan (Dent, Non-). The Scouts played their last official show in March of 2018, reuniting in 2022 for a one night only sold out reunion show at Elsewhere in Brooklyn. Jaffe, now based in Brooklyn, has done stints in dozens of Boston and New York bands including Comet and Non-; most recently, she plays bass in sludge/doom metal outfit Cowardice and has started releasing solo music under her own name Lea Jaffe. She still makes black metal anonymously, but there will be hints. Brennan also releases bangers under their own name, Brennan Wedl. Otto is now primarily the greatest producer in Boston, Massachusetts but also can be seen around town playing alongside local beloveds like Grace Givertz and more. The band is not currently active as members live in various cities and states across the States. The band is manifesting love and light to everyone listening to and making little Tik Toks of their songs <3
