Dark Polo Gang is an Italian trap collective, born in Rome in 2014 and composed by Dark Wayne / Wayne Santana (Umberto Violo), Tony Effe (Nicolò Rapisarda), Dark Pyrex / Prynce Pyrex (Dylan Thomas Cerulli). The members of the group have known each other since childhood, they grew up in the same Roman districts and have started to rap for fun and then get to seriously produce songs with their friend and producer Sick Luke, relying on an emerging independent record label called Triplosette Entertainment, whose founders are none other than the members of the Gang. Under a veiled self-irony, the core of the lyrics sung by the group consists of a critique of modern rap, defined by now accessible to all and the reference to globalization and the need to adapt to its rules to earn and become famous, which has always been the only goal of the group.
