About Cypress Moreno

After a year at the University of Arizona, LA native Cypress Moreno was destined to return home to take the throne as the West Coast’s premier tastemaker, DJ & Producer. Starting in radio, he hosted his own show on Young California under the tutelage of DJ Carisma & DJ Rawn on The Mix Show. The ability to have his own show would set the stage for what would come later on. Cypress would DJ for LA’s best new artists: G Perico, Drakeo the Ruler, 03 Greedo, Blueface, Bino Rideaux, 1takejay, Rucci, $tupid Young, AzChike, Kalan.FrFr & Roddy Ricch. From 2018 to early 2020 Cypress toured with Shoreline Mafia domestically & internationally garnering a diverse fan base as they performed in front of many sold out shows & festivals. On the road, the discipline he developed back home being in the studio began to show. Moreno was tapped in with artists from all over the country. Swear to God by Drego & Beno would bring Cypress’ production into viral status after a video he posted on Twitter showed the bts of the Detroit duo in studio. Production credits would accumulate adding Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy, Cordae, E-40, Problem & SOB X RBE to name a few. 2020, in its unpredictability, has shown to be a breakout year for Cypress releasing singles through his label CVTCHXXII. It also saw his first two Billboard 200 entries as the producer behind Tee Grizzley “Lions & Eagles” feat. Meek Mill & Shoreline Mafia’s “Bitches.”
