About Clay and Friends

Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Clay and Friends offers a powerful blend of soul, funk and hip-hop. With a distinctive style all their own they’ve created what is now known as: La Musica Popular De Verdun. Renowned for his wild concerts and musical improvisation, the band presents an organic jams amplified by beatbox and samplings. Since 2014, Clay and Friends has thrilled more than 1,850 Canadian and European crowds under the modus operandi #KeEpItMoViN'. Its EP La Musica Popular De Verdun has more than 30 million plays since its release in 2019. Clay and Friends have flight coast to coast with the French EP : Grouillades (2020), AGUÀ (2021), the album AGUÀ EXTEND'EAU (2022) and their mini-EP Loonie (2023). --- Clay and Friends offre un mélange percutant de soul, de funk et de hip-hop, soutenu d’une prose à l'image de ce que l’on surnomme désormais : La Musica Popular De Verdun.
