About ClariS

クララとカレンの２人組ユニット。 2010年10月にデビューシングル「irony」（TVアニメ「俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない」OP）をリリース。以降、26枚のシングルと3枚のミニアルバム、6枚のオリジナルアルバム、またベストアルバムもリリースと精力的に活動している。2020年10月20日にはメジャーデビュー10周年を迎え、謎のベールに包まれていたClariSがキャリア初の配信ライブで素顔を明かすと大きな話題を呼んだ。同年10月21日には10周年を記念したベストアルバム「ClariS 10th Anniversary BEST」を2タイトル同時リリース。 2022年は6枚目となるフルアルバム「Parfaitone」（パルフェトーン）の他、TVアニメ「リコリス・リコイル」OPテーマとなったシングル「ALIVE」をリリース。初の冠番組「ClariS新章」のO.Aに加え、THE FIRST TAKEへも初出演し、トレンド入りを果たす等大きな話題となった。2023年5月には、約３年８か月ぶりのライブハウス公演「ClariS SPRING LIVE 2023 ～Neo Sparkle～」を大成功におさめ、6月にはWinkの名曲をカバーした初のコンセプトEP「淋しい熱帯魚」を発売。 ClariSの快進撃はまだ止まらない。ユニット名“ クラリス”という言葉には、ラテン語で「明るい、清潔、輝かしい」などの意味がある。 ClariS is a girl duo of Clara and Karen, who made their debut in 2010, while still in junior high school, with “irony”, the opening theme of the TV anime series Oreimo. They went on to draw popularity by singing the theme song of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica series. In the early days they used to use illustrations as likenesses and did not show their faces, but when they celebrated their 10th major debut anniversary on October 20, 2020, they revealed their faces for the first time, generating huge buzz. The unit name ClariS refers to a Latin word meaning “bright”, “clean”, “glorious”, etc.
