In 1997, the artist, from the Dominican Republic, recorded his first album, called Pa' Otro La'o, released in Latin America and the U.S., allowing the musician to get a Lo Nuestro Award. In the year 2000, Chichi Peralta De Vuelta Al Barrio, was followed by a worldwide tour.
