About CEF Tanzy

Carlos Fernando Tanzi aka CEF Tanzy, is an Angolan artist, born in Tsotso, Damba (Uíge). He is a singer, music producer for Trap Zouk, R&B, Soul Music and Afro Pop, composer, lyricist and actor. Also the CEO of C8 Music Group (C8MG), a company created in 2011 that works in the area of discovering new talent, giving them the opportunity to express themselves through music. Back in 2012 CEF Tanzy created the Trap Zouk genre, with Smash, his co-producer, with which he recorded two original albums, Botón de Rosas (released in 2013) and Cartel D’amor (released in 2017). Trap Zouk, is a strand of Zouk, with an innovative metric. With this peculiar sound, Cef Tanzy influenced the market in places where his music has been played, and other young singers identified themselves with that genre. In 2016 he was part of “Legado da lenda”, a project by B26, in partnership with Big Nelo, Lil Saint and Young Double. From this work, successes such as Atrofiar, Estátua ninguém se mexe e Tá doce are highlighted. Since that CEF Tanzy has released several successes such as Mente poluída, Michael Jackson, and Tá falar Tá fazer.
