About Brother Culture

The English artist, originally from Brixton, starts his career in 1982 as an MC for the sound system Jah Revelation Muzik. Ten years later, he makes his live debut in London where he proves once again his abilities as an MC and meets the activists of the UK dub/roots music scene: Adrian Sherwood and Manasseh. Brother Culture’s career thus truly begins in London’s Dub Club where he establishes his reputation as an MC and powerful singer. With his different flows and efficient capability to adapt to any style, he immediately subdues the English audience. In a matter of years, he becomes one of the most active artist on the scene, releasing vast amount of project and performing concert across the globe. Brother Culture’s particularity is his easiness to adapt to all genres. Indeed, his will to experiment and push his music further with every new release is what enabled him to collaborate with multiple labels like Liquid sound design. Brother Culture now hold a wide catalogue of collaborations with both artists and labels, the most notable which are: Wackies, Mungos Hi-Fi, Zion Train, Mad Professor, Adrian Sherwood, Manasseh, Youth, The Prodigy, Dubmatix, ODG and of course Evidence Music!
