HYBE and KOZ Entertainment’s BOYNEXTDOOR are back with their 3rd EP [19.99] Aspiring to bring music and lyrics that will resonate with everyone, BOYNEXTDOOR (SUNGHO, RIWOO, JAEHYUN, TAESAN, LEEHAN, WOONHAK) debuted in May 2023 with their highly-anticipated single album WHO!. 2nd EP HOW? acts as a bridge between the sextet’s debut single album WHO! and their 1st EP WHY.., 2nd EP HOW? completes their first-love-trilogy that chronicles the stories from first love to first heartbreak. From the excitement of first love portrayed in WHO! to the pain of first breakup captured in WHY.., HOW? sheds light on the various situations and emotions that span in between. Their newest EP 19.99, the title of the 3rd EP, is an imperfect number that symbolizes the moment right before turning 20, the most passionate time in life. The new album candidly explores the immature yet innocent thoughts and profound dilemmas of youth at the cusp of transitioning from their teens to twenties. Comprised of members who are either newly in their twenties or on the verge of turning 20, K-pop’s free spirits have actively participated in the album’s production, contributing to both composition and lyrics of six out of seven tracks, to capture the essence of the experiences of their youth. Their music is bound to resonate deeply with those navigating the ups and downs of transitioning to adulthood.
