Thom Jongkind & Idir Makhlaf, better known as Dutch DJ/producer duo Blasterjaxx started their career in 2010. After producing music separately since 2004, Thom & Idir were introduced to each other by a mutual friend and decided to start making music together. A few months later, they decided to move forward as Blasterjaxx. After a couple releases, their successes started to take shape. In 2013 their single “Faith” conquered radio stations all over the world and even reached a double platinum status in South Africa & Sweden. That year, Blasterjaxx entered the DJMAG top 100 for the first time and haven’t left the list since. Also they have won the IDMA Award for best worldwide breakthrough act.In the meantime, their energetic music performances didn’t go unnoticed, which lead to Mainstage show WorldWide and included festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and shared stages with the world greatest DJs. Although playing for all the fans was a gift to both of them, Idir decided in 2015 to take a step back from the intense touring-life and focused all his energy on being in the studio. With successful collabs with amongst others: Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Timmy Trumpet, Hollywood Undead and W&W, Blasterjaxx accelerates in various genres. With over 150 releases, 50 remixes, many bootlegs & countless edits, every set is unique and fits every Stage in the Electronic Dance Music.
