2021年、SKY-HIが起業したばかりの会社BMSGで主催したボーイズグループオーディション「THE FIRST」から生まれた、SOTA、SHUNTO、MANATO、RYUHEI、JUNON、RYOKI、LEOの7人組ダンス＆ボーカルユニット。 それぞれが歌・ダンス・ラップに対して高いクオリティとポテンシャルを持っているのと同時に、作詞・作曲・コレオグラフにまで発揮される音楽的感度の高さ、そして七者七様の個性を持った華やかさ。 「BE:FIRST」と名付けられたこの7人組は、プレデビューから日本の各種チャートの1位を席巻。ここからアジア、そして世界へと向けて偉大なる最初の一歩目を踏み出す。 BE:FIRST, a seven-piece boy group created through SKY-HI’s six-month-long audition “THE FIRST”, is releasing its pre-debut single. The song, titled “Shining One,” was originally featured in the audition program as the final assignment. It was recreated by the winning members of the program as the “BE:FIRST version” with new arrangement and choreography. The song is produced by ☆Taku Takahashi of m-flo and has lyrical contributions from SKY-HI that contains a message for the members of BE:FIRST. It is a dance track that exudes youthful energy of the boys taking off towards their bright future. As the song was created through the audition program “THE FIRST”, which emphasized “quality first, creativity first, and artisism fist,” it embodies the “music first” attitude of the label and its debuting boy group.
