Vo & G：後藤正文（Masafumi Gotoh） Ｇ & Vo：喜多建介（Kensuke Kita） B & Vo：山田貴洋（Takahiro Yamada） Drums：伊地知潔（Kiyoshi Ijichi） 1996年結成の4人組ロックバンド。 2002年「崩壊アンプリファー」をリリース、翌年4月に同作でメジャーデビュー。 2003年からNANO-MUGEN FES. を立ち上げ、年々規模を拡大。 WEEZERやMANIC STREET PREACHERSなどの海外アーティストも招き、幅広いジャンルの音楽をファンに紹介する試みも積極的に行う。 2021年に結成25周年を迎え、2023年4月には、メジャーデビュー20周年となる。 後藤が描くリアルな焦燥感、絶望さえ推進力に昇華する 圧倒的なエモーション、勢いだけにとどまらない「日本語で鳴らすロック」でミュージックシーンを牽引し続け、世代を超えた絶大な支持を得ている。 A four-piece band formed in 1996. ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION first released「崩壊アンプリファー」 (Destructive Amplifier) in 2002 and made their major debut a year later with the same title. In 2003, the band had launched NANO-MUGEN Fes. and annually expanded their project scales. The band had invited oversea artists like WEEZER, MANIC STREET PREACHERS etc. to introduce their fan the wide range of genre. The year 2021 is 25 years since banding and will be 20 years since the major debut in April of 2023. Gotoh 's realistic frustration, even despair sublimates into a driving force Overwhelming emotion and momentum, they have continued to lead the music scene with their "Japanese sounding rock” and have gained tremendous support across generations.
