Ana Miranda, aka ANNA shapeshifts between two parallel careers – Techno and Ambient. The Brazilian-born, Lisbon-based DJ / producer is renowned for her hypnotic and melodic techno released on a range of labels from Drumcode to Mute to Afterlife. Her driving productions are distinctively infused with an ambient essence that served as a primer for her shift towards the ambient music world. ANNA is twenty plus years into a highly-revered career, one that elevated her from the dancefloors of Six – the nightclub her father owned in São Paola – and sits at the top of some of the world’s most esteemed clubs and festivals: DC10, Hi, Warung, Movement, Tomorrowland, TimeWarp and Coachella. In the last years, she’s delivered classic crossover remixes for Jon Hopkins, Orbital and her huge rework of Depeche Mode’s ‘My Cosmas Is Mine’. ANNA’s incessant desire to “make better music and be more creative” led her to a neurofeedback centre in Germany in October 2017. This is where she took the vital steps in her self-realisation journey which led to the creation of her debut album ‘Intentions’ (released with Mercury KX / Decca), complete with sound healing and ambient sensibilities – with collaborations with Jon Hopkins; ambient guru Laraaji and East Forest. “I am everything.
