Amir Eid (Arabic: امیر عید; born November 26, 1983) is an Egyptian singer, songwriter, and actor. He is the lead vocalist of the rock band Cairokee. He founded the Egyptian rock band Cairokee in 2003 and recorded political songs during the egyptian revolution. These songs include Sout el Horeya and ya el midan. He is a supporter of the Palestinian cause, which featured in his song Telk Qadeya. Amir Eid was born in Alexandria, Egypt.[citation needed]
