About Adarsh Shinde

Adarsh Shinde hails from a family of singers. His grandfather Swar Samrat “Pralhad Shinde” and father “Anand Shinde” have made notable contributions in the marathi music industry. Adarsh Shinde’s father noticed his talent very early on and started training him from age 2 and in a few years. His first stage performance with his father was at age 12. He soon became a celebrated playback name in the Marathi Film industry. He won a marathi celebrity singing reality show, “Aata Houn Jaudya”. In 2013, Adarsh Shinde got his biggest hit song, “Deva Tujhya Gabharyala” from the film Dunyadaari, and there was no looking back from there. Today, he has sung more than 5000 songs, achieved numerous awards including 3 consecutive “Filmfare awards” as the best playback singer, a state award for the gazal, “Ae Sanam” and the most recognised “Dada Saheb Phalke Award”. Some of his most loved songs include Majhya Raja Ra, Awaaz Wadhav DJ, Tujhya Roopacha Chandna, Mi Naad Khula, Aapli Yaari, Tula Japnaar Aahe, Morya Morya and Aa Ra Ra Ra Khatarnak. Adarsh has also been a part of Hindi Films and has sung songs like “I want just you(Joker)” by Gaurav Dagaonkar, “Hari har (Prithviraj)” by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, & “Udhal ho (Malaal)” by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The Shindeshahi family also holds a Guinness World Record for singing the most number of songs as a family. Today, Adarsh is also seen as a favourite judge on Marathi singing reality shows like Sangeet Samrat and Mi Honar Super Star.
