This group is, as its name implies, a collective of rotating musicians that bring jazz instruments to contemporary hits. Brass, drums, piano, bass and a rotating cast of beloved male and female singers all work together to lend a new sparkle to much loved favorites like Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) and Breakfast in America. Their songs have been included on compilations and playlists the world over and each has been streamed well over a million times. While they have not worked together recently, 48th St. Collective thinks of Michelle Simonal as a dear friend and loves how their careers have followed similar arcs over time.
