Intermediate Photography

Prerequisite: Beginner Photography or Instructor approval

Elevate your photography skills with our Intermediate Photography course at the Peoria Art Guild, designed to build directly upon the foundations established in our Beginner Photography class.

This program delves into essential post-processing techniques using GIMP, a free and powerful open-source editing software; explore the creative applications of common screw-on lens filters; deepen your understanding of light characteristics and advanced landscape composition; and introduced the fundamentals of continuous studio lighting and off-camera flash for more controlled and dynamic results.

Ages 18 and up

Required Materials: DSLR camera, tripod, and laptop (Windows 10+, 4GB RAM)
