Incandescence: A Film Screening

Filmed in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, Incandescence dives into the profound impact of the 2021 White Rock Lake Fire and the 2023 McDougall Creek Fire. Through powerful storytelling, the film explores themes of wildfire stewardship, ecological change, and the resilience of communities facing the growing threat of fire.

Presented in partnership with Seniors for Climate Action and the South Okanagan Council of Canadians.

This event is part of the OC Speaker Series, and the film is generously provided by the National Film Board of Canada.

Donations are welcome with all proceeds going towards supporting students in need.
