Interested in creating a Native American style flute for yourself or as a special gift for someone. Why not come join me as I teach and guide you through the process of making of your own flute. No experience is necessary and all tools and materials will be provided. By the end of the day you will have crafted your own beautiful flute and embarked on a very special journey that can last a lifetime.
The Native American Flute is a very special instrument that gives us the opportunity to sing the songs of our heart. Through these songs we can nurture deeper connections with ourselves, each other and Mother Earth. The most important aspect of this is to be inspired by whatever is around us and within us and through that inspiration connect more deeply with the intention of our songs. These are the prayers that guide us. I use this same process with every flute that I create and it is often possible to hear that within the songs that they sing. Come join meand be guided and taught how to make your own flute that is connected to your heart and the greater universe.
About your teacher
I has been creating and playing Native American flutes for over 30 years and my connection with these incredible instruments grows deeper and deeper each year within my heart and soul. PRACTICAL ASPECTS:
Venue: This workshop will be held in Cornwall at Chyan Cultural Centre. Full details of the address and directions will be provided upon booking.
What to bring: Just yourself and the desire to create your own Native American Flute. There will be feathers for you to decorate your flute if you want. You are also welcome to bring your own feathers, crystals or special objects that you may wish to be part of your creation. You can bring your own food for lunch and drink if you wish as the workshop will run through mid day. Hot drinks and water will be available free of charge.
Limited spaces available: 5 places are available for this flute making workshop in order to give full attention to each participant.
The cost of the workshop is £160.
