Ed was a local business owner, who loved playing golf as often as he could, was a long-time member of the Sakima Country Club and my Dad. He was always willing to lend a hand to a friend and if he saw a need for something- he would find a way to fix it!
In November 2023, Ed was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, an aggressive form of blood cancer. He received many bags of blood and platelets during his 6-month battle. Often during treatment Ed would say, “I can’t believe they are giving me all these blood products. There’s got to be someone who needs them more!”
