A trail running favorite, the Ledges were formed out of Sharon Conglomerate millions of years ago.
Lots of options here, but we'll start with the Ledges Trail (2.2). You can add on Haskell Run (.5) and/or Pine Grove (2.2) to increase your mileage. Trail map:

We will run every Monday. Locations will vary, but all runs will begin at 6pm unless otherwise noted (similar to previous years, a few weeks will start earlier to accommodate our monthly board meetings).
Some housekeeping items:
Pace varies tremendously, as does distance. Sometimes we stay together as one group, but depending on size and pace, we may splinter into pace or distance pods.
Although our fall running tradition is called Muddy Mondays, we act as good stewards of the trails we are privileged to run and do our best to run responsibly and leave no trace. In the two years we have been doing this, we have only ever seen mud once. 🙂
We do not have maps for you to download for these runs. Please stick with a buddy and look out for each other.
Headlamps will be necessary in the later weeks of fall.
If you encounter a horse, please stop running and allow horse and rider to pass. If you encounter a biker on a mountain bike trail, please follow the same procedures and allow the bike to pass.
Use common sense and be aware of surroundings. All trails can include roots, rocks, bridges, fallen trees, bushes, mud, stairs, and poison ivy. Walk when necessary.
This is an official CTC event and therefore all paid current members are covered under CTC insurance. We encourage you to bring friends but just know that if an incident were to occur they would not be covered under CTC insurance unless they have paid the annual membership prior to the event starting.
