Day for the Dial

This is a free community day for everyone who loves the Dial Range — a chance for all the user groups and community to come together and show just how many people value this special place.
The day will include a trail running event, a social mountain bike ride, and guided hikes into the Dial. Inside the barn, there will be talks and displays exploring the natural values of the Dial Range, along with guided walks to discover rare ferns, orchids and other unique features of the landscape.
Visitors can meet local clubs, learn about the exciting mountain bike plans for the area, and hear about new walking tracks currently under construction. If you’d rather take it easy, you’re welcome to relax on the lawns and enjoy live music, including performances by Scott Mainwaring.
Most importantly, the day is about coming together as a community to celebrate the Dial Range and support the vision of a larger protected reserve for the area.
