Author Talk: The Webb Connection - The Story of a Welsh Family by Erica Austin
Erica Austin, a barrister turned teacher, has lived in Penarth for thirty years. Tracing her Welsh ancestry to the early 1700s and building on her late brother John Webb’s research, she has turned family history into vivid stories of ancestors who shaped Welsh life through farming, faith, the merchant navy, land management, and medicine.
Her book provides a fascinating insight into past lives who have contributed in so many ways to Wales. Erica will read extracts from her book and discuss how those lives have contributed to the world we know today.
