Sheri Marie Ptolemy is a country singer-songwriter from the small town of Pemberton, BC. Her latest EP, Hometown, features 6 songs inspired by her experiences of leaving her small-town life and chasing her dreams of becoming a country artist. A true west-coast native, Sheri's music is shaped by the stunning landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, with nature themes woven throughout her songs.
Austin Ross draws inspiration from the deep well of traditional roots music, playing originals and cover songs in the vein of classic storytellers from yesterday and today. Expect an ackectic set of knee skappers and ballads that blend elements of folk, country bluegrass and blues.
The New Mountain Rangers (also known as The Courageous Mountain Rangers) are a 4 piece acoustic string band based out of Pemberton/Whistler. Jeff, Mike, and Brett all trade off singing lead and harmony, and play a diverse range of songs loosely based on the bluegrass format.
So grab a friend, put on your dancin' shoes and come celebrate Birken style!
