ART Preview of Xterra Appalachian Trail Fest Course

What? A preview of the Xterra Appalachian Trail Fest 18K course. Course has about 2,000ft of gain and is business (climbing!) in the front, party in the back. AKA a mullet!

Where? Meet at the boat ramp near the south trail head/basketball courts. $5 entry into the park.

When? September 13th at 8 a.m.

Why? To gain some insight into the course for racing. Plus everyone who joins us will get a 25% off registration code.

Bring? You MUST carry water for this run! We will have one water stop, but you must have a bottle or hydration bladder to fill. We also recommend bringing enough fuel/calories to last 3-4 hours. This trail is technical and will take longer than a road run. We will have a leader and sweeper for the group, and we can provide you with a GPX in case you would like to go faster than the group pace. This is a group run, not a race. Our purpose is to explore the trail and have fun together!
