Old Bones at the Powerton Canal

Learn the mystery of Pekin's Powerton Plant Skeleton from 1964! In the summer of 1964, a local fisherman happened upon a human skull on the bank of the Powerton plant outlet canal. The find led to further investigation that uncovered a nearly complete human skeleton, raising questions about whose remains they were and how they ended up at the canal.
