More than 20 years after the original body‑swap comedy, mom Tess Coleman (Jamie Lee Curtis) and daughter Anna (Lindsay Lohan) are back—this time with a multigenerational twist. Anna is now married to Eric (Manny Jacinto) and raising teenage daughter Harper (Julia Butters). Her fiancé’s daughter Lily (Sophia Hammons) enters the picture just in time for Anna’s bachelorette party—where a mysterious palm reading triggers lightning to strike twice.

This time, Harper swaps bodies with her mother, while Lily swaps with Tess, igniting twice the chaos as the family adjusts to merged lives and dual identities. Classic characters return—Jake (Chad Michael Murray), Ryan (Mark Harmon), Maddie (Christina Vidal Mitchell), Peg (Haley Hudson), Mr. Bates (Stephen Tobolowsky), Pei‑Pei (Rosalind Chao) and her mother (Lucille Soong)—alongside new energy from Harper’s and Lily’s youthful perspectives. Directed by Nisha Ganatra, this feel‑good sequel blends nostalgia with fresh family dynamics, proving once again that walking in someone else’s shoes can lead to the biggest laugh—and the greatest understanding.
