Commissioning Mass – Catholic War Veterans of Atlanta
The Catholic War Veterans of Atlanta warmly invite you to a Commissioning Mass on Saturday, September 27, at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church.
The Mass will be presided by Most Reverend Bishop Ned Shlesinger, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, concelebrated with Father Kevin Peek, and beautifully cantered by Father Charles Byrd with music leadership from Auxiliary Leader Glencora Leming Wagnon.
This sacred celebration will mark the official commissioning of the Catholic War Veterans, uniting our community in prayer, service, and mission.
We invite all parishioners of the Archdiocese of Atlanta to attend — especially veterans and family members of veterans. Together, we will give thanks, ask God’s blessing, and commit ourselves anew to faith and service.
Following the Mass, the Knights of Columbus will host a festive brunch.
