Hear ye, good people of Artemisia and the Known World!
On the fifteenth day of November, the doors of the Arrow’s Rest Tavern shall swing wide to welcome all for a celebration of song and story in honor of our beloved Kingdom of Artemisia!
What do we celebrate on this wondrous day? Why, Artemisia herself! We call upon bards, poets, jugglers, musicians, singers, and performers of all kinds to share the tales, tunes, dances, and epics of our fair kingdom—be they original creations or cherished favorites. A competition shall be held for the finest original performance, and the victor shall be rewarded with a prize worthy of their art. Help vote for your favorite performance by tipping the performers using the coin of the realm available at the gate.
But the revelry does not end there! There shall be tournament fighting—one last chance to don your armor before the year turns once more. Join us on the field to witness the grace of fencers, the might of armored warriors, and the cheers of youthful combatants.
And lo, the most honorable contest of all: the Toy Drive Challenge! Which Shire or Barony will prove the most generous and earn the right to bear the fabled blade Tear Slayer for another year? Last year, the noble Gryphon’s Lair wrested the honor from the magnanimous Arrow’s Flight—shall they triumph again? Details on how to donate in person or online will soon be shared—make sure your group earns the title of most generous in the land!
Still hungry for more? The Arrow’s Rest Tavern will serve up a menu of delectable, medieval-inspired pub bites and crafted mocktails as part of the shire fundraiser and available for coin of the realm. Come taste the flavors of the past as you revel in music, merriment, and the spirit of Artemisia!
