Homeless Befriending: Shared Stories, Shared Spaces At Yio Chu Kang Chapel

SG Social & Homeless Hearts Of Singapore would like to invite you to attend Homeless Befriending: Shared Stories, Shared Spaces event on 4 Oct 2025 (Sat) from 2pm to 5pm. The event will be held in person at Yio Chu Kang Chapel (242 Yio Chu Kang Road, Singapore 545671), which is also a Safe-Sound-Sleeping-Place (S3P), a night shelter for our homeless friends.

Step into our Advocacy Awareness & Human Library hosted by Homeless Hearts of Singapore (homeless.sg) and Bless Community Services (bless.org.sg) to celebrate the shared journeys of our community of homeless friends, partners, shelters, and volunteers.

Come learn too from veteran partners like Bless Community Services/Yio Chu Kang Chapel and The Last Resort why community befriending & opening up our homes are a vital bridge to effectively advocate for our homeless friends in closing systemic gaps in our city today, especially with regards to young adults and families who have fallen through the cracks.

The event will consist of:An introduction to homeless befriending and youth homelessness. A human library segment where speakers (homeless friends, ex-homeless friends, volunteers, partners, etc.) will be sharing their stories of homeless befriending and their journey.A short tour around Yio Chu Kang Chapel S3P.An opportunity to network and connect with one another.
