PVD KIZ Launch – Halloween Kick-Off Kiz Social

We’re thrilled to introduce PVD KIZ — a brand-new monthly Kizomba & Urban Kiz social hosted by YinYang Kiz in collaboration with Cultura Dance Arts.

Our mission is to give Rhode Island’s Kizomba/Urban Kiz community a consistent home: a place to dance, learn, and highlight the incredible local talent we have right here in PVD.

To mark the launch, we’re starting with a Halloween-night celebration - the perfect excuse to dress up, dance, and set the tone for a monthly social you’ll want to keep on your calendar.

Event Details

Date: Friday, October 31st, 2025

Workshop: 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Social: 9:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Location: Cultura Dance Arts Studio, 545 Pawtucket Ave Unit A108, Pawtucket, RI 02860

Theme: Costumes encouraged for the launch night only 🎭

Music: DJ Jem & DJ D-Lyte curating an all-night blend of Kizomba, Urban Kiz, and Afro-inspired vibes to keep the floor moving.

Admission

General Admission: $10

Discount: $5 for currently enrolled CDA & YYK students (show an active pass at the door)

Payment: Venmo @culturadancearts or Cash App $yinyangkizomba (cash also accepted at the door)

About PVD KIZ

PVD KIZ was created to:

- Provide a regular space for Kizomba/Urban Kiz dancers and DJs to connect,

- Showcase the talent that’s already thriving in Rhode Island, and

- Strengthen and grow the community one social at a time.

The Halloween theme is just for the kick-off night - future PVD KIZ socials will each carry their own vibe as we build this monthly tradition together.

Let’s launch this new chapter for Kizomba in PVD the right way - with great music, great people, and plenty of room to dance.
