The Poker Run is BACK!!
(Lots of reading below but trying to cover any questions that may be asked)
We'll be registering at Jacques Cartier from 12-1 ($20pp) and visiting five bars, collecting a card at each one. Best five card poker hand at the end wins 75% of the pot! (Remaining 25% will be raffled off as a door prize to one participant)
All card hands MUST be present and checked in NO LATER than 6pm at Jacques in order to be qualified. This is a blind poker run. All cards are sealed in envelopes and must be returned that way to qualify. Final card is drawn at Jacques and food will be provided.
**** Motorcycles are NOT a necessity for this run... Get to the bars however you want! :) ****
***Spots are limited: People are more than welcome to just show up the day of the run but if we had an idea of people attending beforehand, that would be great…. And don't forget to invite your friends!
Participating bars: Celtic Pub, Quinn's, Annie St (Polish Club), Rock’s Bar, Jacques Cartiers.
Snacks/food will be provided at each bar. Enjoy each bar, have a snack and a drink but I suggest making your way back to Jacques around 5ish..... This will allow time to choose your last card and turn in your hand before 6.
Please try to purchase a beer at each bar to thank them for hosting us and providing food.
Suggested route/timing:
1. Celtic Pub (755 Broadway) - 1-1:45
2. Quinn’s (433 Benefit St) - 2-2:45
3. Annie St/Polish Club (244 Annie St) - 3-3:45
4. Rock’s Bar (451 Prospect St) - 4-4:45
5. Jacques (816 Main St) - 5:00
This allows time for bars to have snacks out at a specific time and also get back in time to pick last card and turn them in to be qualified.
