Brainstorming your College Essay & Polishing your Essay Draft

Kick-start your college essay with confidence. In this session, led by Meghan Daniels on Wednesday, September 24 at 6:30 pm, students will explore meaningful experiences, identify potential story angles, and learn how to turn their ideas into compelling essay topics. We will cover what colleges look for in student essays and use writing exercises to unlock authentic narratives. Each student will leave with an essay topic and outline. Meghan is currently a college essay consultant at Freudigman & Billings, LLC; an instructor in the English department at Westchester Community College; and a freelance content marketing consultant. Her creative writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The Masters Review and The Sun. She lives in Pawling with her family.
