'Safe & Sound' Family Safety Event

Join the Fleet & Family Support Center for a family safety event on Friday, Sept. 19 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

This free event, which will be held outside on the field across from the Fleet & Family Support Center, will feature:

•'Kids in Safety Seats' (KISS)
•NAS Patuxent River Department fire truck
•American Red Cross disaster vehicle
•NAS Patuxent River Security with 'McGruff'
•Navy Exchange - home safety and emergency preparedness items
•St. Mary's County Health Department - family health and safety items
•Blue Star Families
•Fleet & Family Support Center Emergency Preparedness
•Lawn games with MWR
•Hands-on projects - home safety locks and reminders for children in the back car seat
•St. Mary's County Library....and much more!
